28 Feb 2015: Open Garden

The first of the fabulous garden tours begins in Enmore on Saturday February 28th between 1 pm and 3 pm.  It will be at Michele Margolies superb garden.  It as an great example of an urban garden, as well as  a beautiful haven.

Michele’s urban Permaculture Food forest  has gone through a series of transformations since 1988. From an 1/8 acre neat and tidy cottage garden, 26 years later there is an established Permaculture Food Forest which provides a wide range of organic food and approaches a closed loop system. There is always more to do!  The garden has had major earth works in the last 12 months and has had the keen attention of a WOOOFER for the last couple of months.

Michele has had 30 years’ experience teaching and practising sustainable living in an urban environment and working with the community as an educator.
