12 October 2021: Small Bird Habitat

Come along and learn more about small bird habitat with our guest speaker, Bev Debrincat.

This zoom presentation will discuss small native birds, why we are losing them, what they need and what we can do to help them both in our own gardens and on public lands. We will take a closer look into small bird corridors that the Habitat Network have been working on, learn about what plants attract birds and discuss how to plant small bird habitat.

Bev runs Habitat Network and coordinates “The Habitat”, a community nursery and food garden in Ryde. She has been working in the field of ecological restoration for over 25 years.
