Top Bar Hive Demonstration: Autumn Honey Harvest
Join us in the Leichhardt Community Garden to observe the autumn harvest from our Top Bar Hive. The demonstration will be an opportunity to see a Top Bar Hive in action, get a sense of how a Top Bar Hive works, ask any questions you may have about this simple system of beekeeping, and meet our beekeeper and hive builder should you be interested in acquiring a Top Bar Hive or some bee’s of your own!
The Demonstration will be followed by our Autumn BBQ in the garden, which you are also welcome to attend, just bring some food along to share!
Location: Leichhardt Community Garden, 1 Marion Street Leichhardt. Type ‘Leichhardt Community Garden’ into Google Maps to find us!

Note- While we have placid bees, please wear enclosed shoes, long sleeves and pants. Stings are rare but it is always a possibility when working with honeybees so sensible precaution is best.
